Definition of Child and Adolescent Development:
Child development refers to the biological and psychological and emotional changes that occur in human beings between birth and the end of adolescence. If you look at the graph below it shows the stages from infants to adolescents, except in our case we are going to talk about adolescents going into 24 years of age (Woolfolk & Perry, 2012).
